Polysorbate 80 is a non-ionic surfactant, emulsifier and solubilizer widely used in skincare and body care products. It is an essential ingredient to use for blending your essential oils into water or surfactant-based products.

Well suited for use in cleansers, room / body sprays, bath bombs, scrubs, and various personal care products, allowing the oil phase of your formulation to fully blend into the water phase (O/W).

Appearance: Viscous Yellow-brown oily liquid

Solubility: Soluble in water & ethanol. Practically insoluble in fatty oils and liquid paraffin

Recommended Usage: 1 - 50%

Applications: Suitable for body creams, lotions, scrubs, room sprays, shower gels, bath bombs, bath oils

Safety: Polysorbate 80 is for use in cosmetic products only, not as a food additive.  It may cause some irritation in some skin types.
