PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL - CERTIFIED ORGANIC*

Organic Peppermint Oil boasts a uniquely fresh, herbaceous, and ‘minty’ aroma. Yet it’s the plethora of natural properties behind its wonderful scent that offers exponential benefits to personal health.

Extracted from the Indian-grown Mentha arvensis plant (also known as cornmint), the leaves are steam distilled to create this incredible support for all manner of ailments – a powerful oil said to fight bacteria and viruses, calm inflammation and freshen tired minds – and produced organically to enhance its natural therapeutic benefits further.

A popular and versatile all-rounder oil that decongests, soothes, relaxes and invigorates, Organic Peppermint Oil is a must-have for natural DIY healthcare remedies.

  • Organic Peppermint Oil contains menthol, a natural decongestant that helps relieve symptoms of hay fever, headaches, migraines, blocked sinuses, colds and flu.
  • The antiseptic properties of Organic Peppermint work hard to ward off bacteria and viruses and reduce inflammation, sore muscles and swelling.
  • Fans of Peppermint Oil Organic say it helps with mental fatigue, calms tempers, and lifts the mood while instilling focus.
  • Known to enhance concentration, Peppermint Oil is popular for people during study periods.
  • Many Peppermint Oil users rely on its natural antispasmodic properties, which help relax the gastric muscles and relieve nausea.
  • Another popular use for Peppermint is to repel insects such as mosquitoes, wasps, bees, spiders, or unwanted rodents.
  • A refreshing scent and natural antibacterial properties assure Peppermint Oil of its place as a preferred effective household cleaning agent.

How to use Organic Peppermint Essential Oil

  • Diffuse: Add a few drops to an aromatherapy diffuser and let the refreshing scent of Peppermint Oil fill the space, helping support decongestion and mental focus.
  • Massage: Dilute a few drops of Peppermint Oil into a carrier oil or massage oil  to soothe tired, tight and sore muscles.
See topical dilution guide below for safe topical application
  • Migraine Stick: Add 8-10 drops of Peppermint Oil to a 15ml roller bottle and top with Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply to your forehead, temples and back of the neck to aid in relieving symptoms of migraine.
  • Foot Spa: To give tired feet a boost, add a drop or two of Peppermint Essential Oil Organic to a pool of warm water, and immerse your feet for fifteen minutes or more.
  • Insect Repellent: Add 8-10 drops of Peppermint Oil to a 15ml roller bottle and top with Fractionated Coconut Oil to create a natural insect repellent. You can also create a spray for your home by adding 10-20 drops to a spray bottle topped with water and a dash of alcohol or vinegar. Spray around the outside of your home (doors and window frames in particular) to help deter insects.
  • Rodent Deterrent: Pour a few drops of Organic Peppermint onto several tissues or cotton buds and place them in the area where rodents are an issue (for example, your roof).
  • Fast Remedy: Add 1-2 drops of Organic Peppermint Oil onto a tissue, hold away from your nose to avoid direct skin contact and inhale. Alternatively, for similar effects, smell the oil directly from the bottle.

Note: Due to its high menthol content, Organic Peppermint Essential Oil may crystallise in cooler temperatures. Gently heating your oil bottle in a cup of warm water will return it to its liquid state.
