How to use Olive Oil Refined

There are many ways to use Olive Oil at home – here are some of our favourite applications: 

• Diluting with Essential Oils: Olive Carrier Oil makes a great base for diluting essential oils to use topically. Try adding 4-6 drops of your favourite Essential Oil to a 15ml roller bottle and top with Olive Oil.
• Directly on the Skin:  Many Olive Oil benefits can be received by using it directly on the skin. Apply to the skin on its own or combined with other Carrier Oils and safe levels of Essential Oils. 
• Facial Serum:  Create your own healing & hydrating facial serum by mixing together 50ml of Olive Oil with 8-15 drops of your favourite Essential Oil (or combination of Essential Oils to a total of 8-15 drops).
  Note: Due to its thickness, Olive Oil is not as easily absorbed as other carrier oils and is best to apply before bed to allow it to soak into the skin overnight 
  
• Hair Mask: Apply Olive Oil directly to your scalp, hair roots, and ends of your hair, to create a nourishing, repairing, and growth-boosting hair mask. Leave for as long as desired and then shampoo well.
• Nail Oil: Olive Oil makes for a fantastic nail & cuticle treatment! Rub into your nails and cuticles daily to help encourage strong nail growth and condition cuticles.
