Product Information
NEROLI ESSENTIAL OIL
From the Far East to the Mediterranean west (and everywhere in between), Neroli Essential Oil is highly prized for its wide range of wellness benefits.
Distilled from the flowers of the Citrus aurantium tree originally found in Asia – the same tree that produces Petitgrain Oil (distilled from the green twigs and leaves) and Sweet Orange Oil (extracted from the fruit rind) - Neroli Oil carries a rich, floral aroma laced with delicately sweet top notes. In addition to its pleasantly balanced scent, the benefits of Neroli Essential Oil are extensive, proving effective as a skin support and well known for promoting emotional stability and instilling calm.
Beautifully scented and broadly versatile, Neroli Oil suits many applications, ranging from aromatherapy to cosmetics, perfumery, and general health.
- The chemical composition of Neroli oil includes powerful esters, terpenes and other organic molecules that offer extensive therapeutic benefits and promote wellness.
- With a high linalool content, a compound known for its calming and stress-relieving properties, Neroli Oil is known to lower anxiety levels and enhance emotional well-being.
- The oil’s incredibly soothing and gentle aroma also helps to balance moods whilst reducing symptoms of stress.
- When used in aromatherapy practices, Neroli Oil can aid in lowering blood pressure and pulse rates by reducing cortisol levels (the stress hormone).
- Neroli Oil benefits may assist with premenstrual symptoms such as low moods, cramps and bloating.
- The powerful anti-inflammatory properties in Neroli Oil help to reduce inflammation and skin irritations, with antimicrobial, antifungal and antioxidant properties also alleviating acne breakouts.
- The natural sedative effect of Neroli Oil makes it a firm favourite among those wanting to promote sleep and rest.
- Its delicately floral aroma makes Neroli Oil highly valued amongst fine perfumery makers.

How to use Neroli Essential Oil
- Diffuse: Add a few drops to an aromatherapy diffuser and let the soothing and calming aroma fill your atmosphere.
- Topically/On the Go: Add 4-6 drops of Neroli Oil to a 15ml roller bottle and top with a carrier oil (such as Fractionated Coconut Oil) to create an on-the-go roller blend. Apply to your wrists, temples, behind your ears & bottoms of your feet.
See topical dilution guide below for safe topical application - Skin Serum: Add a few drops to a carrier oil of choice; we recommend Jojoba Oil or Rosehip Oil as these carrier oils are well known for their skin benefits. Once diluted, apply nightly to desired areas, avoiding your eyes and sensitive areas. Alternatively, you can add a couple of drops to your existing skincare products (cream / lotion) to boost their healing properties.
- Bath: Add a couple drops of Neroli Essential Oil to a warm bath to promote emotional support and assist with PMS symptoms.
- Fast Remedy: Add 1-2 drops of Neroli Oil to a tissue and inhale at a distance while ensuring that the oil does not come into direct contact with your skin. Alternatively, you can smell the oil directly from the bottle!
