Kokum Butter Refined

AWO's Kokum Butter Refined is extracted from the fruit kernels of the kokum tree. Also known as Garcinia indica, this tree is native to the western coastal areas of India.

Kokum Butter is a unique butter which stays solid at room temperature but melts easily when applied to the skin. It is extremely stable, even believed to be the most stable butter in the market. Kokum butter is high in essential fatty acids, with a strong triglyceride composition which holds up to 80% of stearic-oleic-stearic.

This butter is non-greasy and is considered a lightweight moisturiser that is rich in vitamins, including Vitamin E, and nutrients. It is well known for its ability to regenerate skin cells and help fight the visible signs of aging. This omega-rich butter can be applied directly onto lips, hands, knees, elbows, and any other dry skin area, and is well suited to those with sensitive skin.
