EUCALYPTUS BLUE MALLE ESSENTIAL OIL

With a rich, sweet, woody aroma, Eucalyptus Blue Mallee Essential Oil is quickly becoming a popular homegrown oil for optimum health and wellness.

Distinctly Aussie, this native is one of hundreds of eucalyptus variants and grows endemically in our nation’s south. Indigenous Australians have used Blue Mallee as incense for centuries, yet the multitude of natural health properties stored within its leaves are becoming more known - analgesic, antimicrobial and good for mental focus. Its aroma will have you hooked instantly, not to mention its benefits for inflamed muscles, tired feet, scalp conditions and stuffy sinuses.

Its rich scent sees Blue Mallee Oil added to perfumes, cosmetics and personal care products. At home, use it as an ingredient in your moisturisers, face and hand creams and shampoo, dilute with a carrier oil for topical use or enjoy its sweet, woody and relaxing aroma diffused in your home.

  • Key constituent cineole (typically up to 90%) is accountable for much of the wide-ranging health properties in Eucalyptus Blue Mallee Oil, from fighting bacteria to relieving pain and inflammation.
  • The antimicrobial activity of cineole makes it useful against viruses and fungal infections.
  • Cineole is known for its ability to help clear airways and support breathing, benefiting conditions like colds, coughs, and sinusitis.
  • Blue Mallee Oil can help reduce inflammation, making it helpful in relieving muscle aches and swelling, while its analgesic properties target the pain.
  • The cineole content in Eucalyptus Blue Mallee is also known to boost mental alertness and reduce fatigue when inhaled.
  • Blue Mallee Oil can help facilitate faster healing of wounds by stimulating new cell growth, moisturising rough skin, and reducing the appearance of cuts, scars and blemishes.
  • As an antibacterial, Blue Mallee Oil can be used as a skin cleanser and may help to relieve problem skin and acne.
  • The natural antibacterial and cooling properties of Blue Mallee Oil can combat body odours, with its sharp, clean aroma providing a refreshing scent.
  • The calming and soothing scent of Eucalyptus Blue Mallee Oil helps relieve feelings of anxiety, relax the mind, and improve negative moods by releasing serotonin and dopamine.
  • Eucalyptus oils are often used in hair care products for their cooling, refreshing, and antimicrobial properties, which can cleanse the scalp and improve hair health.
  • The oil’s strong scent is a natural repellent against insects, particularly mosquitoes and flies.
  • Blue Mallee Oil can be used as a natural cleaning product, combatting bacterial activity in and around your home.
