Clary Sage Essential Oil (15ml): Clary Sage Essential Oil is known for its antidepressant properties that help ease stress and reduce anxiety, making it a beneficial oil for helping to calm the body and mind. Clary Sage helps to soothe nervous tension and bring about a sense of well-being.
Unwind Essential Oil Blend (15ml): AWO’s Unwind essential oil blend, with its beautifully balanced, fresh yet floral aroma, is specially designed to promote relaxation and tranquillity. Each essential oil in this blend offers unique benefits that contribute to its overall calming effect to help unwind the body and mind.
Bergamot Essential Oil (15ml): Bergamot Essential Oil is known to reduce nervous tension and negative emotions and help regulate mood due to its natural calming and uplifting properties. Bergamot also acts as a natural sedative to help promote better rest and sleep.
There are countless ways to use essential oils, but below are a few of our favourite ideas to get you started;
- Diffuse: Add 1-3 drops of each Essential Oil to your diffuser and allow the calming, comforting properties help to relax your senses.
- On the Go: For a relaxation blend you can take on the go, add 2-3 drops of each Essential Oil into a 10ml roller bottle and top with Fractionated Coconut Oil. Apply to your wrists, temples, behind your ears and bottom of your feet.
- Fast Remedy: Add 1-2 drops of your chosen Essential Oil on to a tissue and inhale at a distance while ensuring that the oil does not come into direct contact with your skin. Alternatively, you can smell the oil directly from the bottle!
- Bath: Add 1-2 drops of each Essential Oil into a warm bath, lay back, and allow the oils to ease your tension and quieten your thoughts.
- Massage: Dilute a few drops of your chosen Essential Oil into a carrier oil or massage oil, for a relaxing massage oil.
Essential Oil Safety
- In line with the Therapeutic Goods Act, we do not recommend ingesting essential oils without the guidance of a registered Aromatherapist or Naturopath. Essential Oils are extremely potent and can cause serious harm if used incorrectly.
- Essential oils should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
- Avoid using Essential Oils during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
- Essential Oils are very concentrated and are likely to cause irritation if applied directly to the skin. For this reason, we recommend diluting your essential oils before using topically (on the skin). For skin application we recommend a 2-4% dilution and for facial application we recommend a 1-2% dilution for adults.
