- Cedarwood Atlas Essential Oil Cedrus atlantica (15ml): Cedarwood is prized for its wide range of therapeutic properties, and is commonly known to help those who are feeling lethargic or are lacking concentration. It’s intense woody, earthy aroma can help sustain and ground you in times of sudden change or crisis and can also help to relieve tension and stress, fight respiratory conditions and assist with circulation.
- HIM Essential Oil Blend (15ml): With a sweet yet woody, masculine aroma, HIM combines a blend of 100% pure essential oils that are recognised to help combat feelings of tension, stress & anxiety, aid in quality sleep, boost immune function & improve overall mental fatigue.
- Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil Backhousia citriodora (15ml): The cheerful and revitalising essence of Lemon Myrtle has been seen to act as a natural antidepressant, bringing peace of mind to those feeling overwhelmed. Lemom Myrtle is also known to help concentrate and focus the mind, and can be beneficial for muscle pain & inflammation when diluted and applied topically.
There are countless ways to use essential oils, but below are a couple of our favourite ideas to get you started;
- Diffuse: One of the most common ways to use essential oils. Simply add 2-10 Drops of Essential Oil to your Diffuser - try mixing a few oils together to create your own essential oil blend!
- Topically/On the Go: You can also experience the benefits of Essential Oils by adding 4-6 drops of your Essential Oil Blend to a 15ml roller bottle and top with Fractionated Coconut Oil. Apply to your wrists, temples, behind your ears & soles of your feet.
See topical dilution guide below for safe topical application - Massage: Dilute 8-12 drops of Essential Oil into 100ml of your favourite Carrier Oil or Base Massage Oil to relax your muscles, ease muscle pain, and help balance your mood.
- Beard Oil: Add 4-6 drops of either Cedarwood or HIM blend into a 15ml bottle and top with either Jojoba Oil or Avocado Oil. Add to the palm of your hands, rub together and then apply through the beard and onto the skin.
- Fast Remedy: Add 1-2 drops of essential oil blend to a tissue and inhale at a distance while ensuring that the oil does not come into direct contact with your skin. Alternatively, you can smell the oil directly from the bottle!
Topical Dilution Guidelines
Please note that the following guidelines are recommended for healthy adults:
- General Use: 2 – 4% dilution (4 – 8 drops per 10ml)
- Facial Application: 1 – 2% dilution (2 – 4 drops per 10ml)
Essential Oil Safety
- Essential oils are extremely potent and can cause serious harm if used incorrectly.
- In line with the Therapeutic Goods Act, we do not recommend ingesting essential oils without the guidance of a registered Aromatherapist or Naturopath.
- Essential oils should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
- Avoid using essential oils during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
- Essential oils are very concentrated and are likely to cause irritation or reactions if applied directly to the skin. For this reason, we recommend diluting your essential oils before using topically (on the skin).
